It was great to go back to Jacksonville, Florida! We lived there for 9 years before moving to Virginia 4 years ago. We held a Caitlin’s Closet Dress Give Away at the Southpoint Community Church. Teens from all over Jacksonville came to find that perfect dress. Thank you to the wonderful ladies from Southpoint that spent the day with us, sewing, doing make-up, and helping out! Monday I got to visit the Kindergarten class at Christ Church School and on Tuesday went to talk to the girls at Beaches Episcopal School. It was fun to see some familiar faces! From there off to Spring Break YEAH!!!!

This weekend I got to travel with Ms. Kim to Dallas to do a photo shoot for Tony Bowls. Of course our great photographer Zac did an amazing job with the pictures.

I enjoyed hanging out with the new MAOT prez Ms. Kim. We had fun giggling and watching the news

This past weekend I got invited to attend the Miss College Park Local in Maryland. I had such a great night! I got to hang out with Miss Maryland’s Outstanding Teen Kasey and hear about all the fun and exciting things she has been involved in.  I performed Show-off and got to help crown the new titleholders.   Thanks to Mr. Kevin and Ms. Angie for having me. I love my Maryland MAOT family!!!

Recently I got to take dresses from Caitlin’s Closet out to Youth for Tomorrow school founded by Hall of Fame Coach Joe Gibbs! The sweet girls were so excited and I enjoyed helping them pick out gowns for the upcoming banquets and graduation.

I also got to attend the Sweetheart Ball with my Dad on Valentine’s Day and act as the celebrity judge for the dances with the stars portion of the event. If was a fun night and I am thnakful for my new friends out at Youth for Tomorrow!

What a trip! No wait… what a cold trip! Literally it was below zero degrees in Minnesota but thanks to Mr. Glenn and all the wonderful MAOT Minnesota family I hardly noticed how cold it was outside.

I arrived Thursday evening and had a great dinner with a number of the Minnesota Pageant Family.

On Friday I visited a bunch of schools including my first High School group! I also got to meet the Mayor of Coon Rapids.

Over the weekend I got to spend time with Miss Minnesota’s Outstanding Teen 2007 Chantal Wilson! We had fun shopping (at the mall of America!), talking, and attending 2 local pageants. I enjoyed being a guest at the Miss Coon Rapids Local Pageant!

On Monday I got to speak at a few more schools and I also attended a Rotary Club meeting. It was a very busy week but I had a great time.

Thanks to everyone in Minnesota for making me feel so welcomed! A huge thank you to Mr. Glenn for helping arrange my busy schedule, the Miss Coon Rapids Organization, all of the Minnesota royalty I got to spend time with, and Ms. Dianne for being there with me every chill step of the way.

Hi everyone!

I thought I would write you all and fill you in on what I have been up to. Last Friday I had homecoming (yes we have it in February) which was a lot of fun.

On Saturday my dad and I went on a little road trip to the Miss Greater Richmond Pageant. Hannah and I got introduced on stage and then we got got to talk about our experience at Miss America and what else we have been up to this year. It was so neat to think that Hannah and I met on that stage and that is also were my Miss America’s Outstanding Teen dream all started (for all of you who don’t know, that’s where I had my local). I had such a great time on Saturday. I had a part in the opening number, performed my dance, signed autographs, and be a part of the crowning! Congrats to the new Greater Richmond Ladies! Thank you to Mr. Buddy and Ms. Sue Cox for holding such a fabulous pageant, you two are wonderful! Also a big thank you to my dad for acting as chaperone with mom home sick!

Miss America was a week I will never forget!!!

I have to say a huge thank you to David and Carry from Regalia for allowing me to wear you beautiful gowns all week! I had so much fun trying all of them on. I had such a hard time picking what dresses to wear.

Thank you to the Miss America Board and Staff for including me in all the events during the week! I got to walk to red carpet for the Rambo premier, attend a former Miss America Luncheon where I meet a bunch of the former Miss America’s including Lauren Nelson (now a former ) and the beautiful Jennifer Berry!

A huge thank you to all the teens that brought dresses for my Caitlin’s Closet Dress Drive! We collected over 400 dresses!!!!! Congratulations to Breianna Hester for winning the dress drive with 176 points! WOW!

One of the best parts of the week was performing on the Miss America stage on Thursday night during Prelims! I was amazing! Some of my MAOT sisters also got to perform… they all did an amazing job!!!!

The only bad part of the trip was catching the flu and having a 104.5 fever that came with it

I had to get IV fluids but made it to the finals to cheer on all the contestants, be introduced on TV, and see my new big sis get crowned Miss America… way to go Kristen you are so beautiful!

Hello everyone!

This Saturday I attended the Miss Arlington Pageant. I performed my dance Hot Honey Rag, got interviewed on stage, and also got to crown Miss Fairfax.

Thank you to Chip and Scott for inviting me… both of you are wonderful.

Leigh Taylor- You looked absolutely beautiful and I loved seeing you again. It was a great pageant.
